My first-ever career aspiration involved a friendly Tyrannosaurus Rex with an equestrian saddle and townspeople in need of a masked hero. Two decades ago, I gave up on it and decided to do something less dramatic instead. So I became a writer.
I am a marketer by profession. I have been working as one – in some capacity or the other – for over a decade. My areas of expertise include content marketing, branding, public relations, and community development. Currently, I work here.
I have been a part of two documentaries – White Van Stories and That Fired Soul – as a scriptwriter, a recording artist, and a digital marketer. They were showcased in Channel 4, BBC and CNN, they won a few awards at film festivals. A poem of mine was also included in the Modern and Contemporary Poetry Volume 1 collection, which was independently published and ridiculously priced.
I have been curating this blog for over four years, with 4300+ followers and 5,800+ email subscribers. The WordPress editorial team has featured my blog, on several occasions, in their Discover and now-defunct Freshly Pressed campaigns. In 2017, I co-hosted season one of a podcast called ‘Nothing in Particular‘, which was featured on iTunes. My mom seemed to like it too.
